Land Transport and Travel To and From Port Zeebrugge

The city of Zeebrugge has excellent rail and road connections with the greater European community. Rail connections will require a short transfer from the port to the Central Railway Station first.
Travel by Bus and Shuttles
Buses leave the ferry terminal bound for Bruges Central Railway Station. Departures are scheduled around ferry arrivals. In the opposite direction, buses depart from the entrance of the Central Railway Station every day at 17:00 hours. From Bruges, connections can be made to outlying destinations.
Car Hire and Road Travel
Zeebrugge is easily reached by car. It can be approached via the large European traffic arteries of E17, E40, A17, and N49. Once in Zeebrugge, the route is signposted as 'Zone 1', 'P&O Ferries/Hull', and 'Car Ferries'. The passenger terminal sits on the outer dock and is called 'Buitenhaven'.
Cars can be hired in Zeebrugge, and most hire companies will arrange to meet passengers at the port with a vehicle. Quite a few companies are represented at Zeebrugge, but the most convenient and reliable way of securing a reasonably priced booking is to do so online, where a single service offers the best deals from various competitors.
Trains and Rail Travel
Zeebrugge enjoys excellent rail connections to the whole of continental Europe. A shuttle bus timed with incoming ferries transports passengers from the port to Bruges Central Railway Station. From here, passengers can book rail travel to any number of major European destinations.
Car Parking
Both short-term and long-term parking facilities are available at the port of Zeebrugge. Long-term parking options offer reasonable rates to accommodate stays of more than just a few hours.
